Antique walnut chest on stand. Early 18th Century chest of drawers, golden walnut veneer with crossbanded drawer fronts, the moulded cornice above two short drawers over three long drawers & furnished with shaped brass handles on walnut veneer stand with shaped apron & cabriole legs. Dimensions: 98cm wide x 56cm deep x 130cm high. Condition: Nice colour, age & general wear to the veneer, mark to the top, some chips & minor losses to the veneer, later brass handles, damage to the veneer on the sides, evidence of woodworm in the drawer boxes - this has been treated as a precaution, repair to the corner of the stand, the legs are later.
