Description
Handmade porcelain squared cup & saucer. The mug was thrown on the potter's wheel, when it was leather-hard it was trimmed & the handle & slip decoration was added. The saucer is slab built from a mold I made, with a thrown foot. The exterior of the cup had a satin matte pink/honey glaze with a clear glossy glaze on the interior. The saucer has the same pink/honey satin matte glaze over it, & a glossy pink glaze in the middle where the cup sits. The mug & saucer were fired to cone 6 (2200 degrees F). The mug holds approximately 18 fluid ounces. APPROXIMATE Dimensions: Cup: 5h x 4.5w x 4d Saucer: 1h x 5w x 4d All clay & glazes/underglazes are lead free & food, microwave, & dishwasher safe.
