These mugs are hand thrown & hand-painted in my garden studio Sussex, England. Each of my patterns has a story behind it. This one is named 'Tide Mills', it is inspired by long, hazy summer days spent eating picnics at 'Tide Mills', a ruined mill just behind a stretch of pebbly beach between Seaford & Newhaven in Sussex. Each piece is handthrown on a pottery wheel & then left to dry a little, the underside is then trimmed & tidied. It is then left to dry out & ready for it's first firing. Once fired it is then dipped in glaze & hand-painted with my patterns. The piece is then ready for it's final firing in the kiln. Things to know: Size (Approximate) Height 7.5cm, Diameter 9.5cm. Each piece is handmade on a pottery wheel & then hand-painted so there may be slight variation in size & colour. You will not necessarily receive the mug pictured. Please note this item is handmade not factory made so there may be minor imperfections, I think this adds to the beauty :) This range is made from high fired stoneware clay.It is hardwearing & suitable for microwaves & dishwashers. PACKING + SHIPPING: Plastic free packaging! My products are wrapped in paper & then gift-wrapped in black tissue paper with fancy tape, they are then packed into very sturdy boxes to ensure they arrive in one piece!
