Formula 1 race fans ... choose any contemporary F1 track layout, designed & produced in the style of the other track maps in my shop! If the F1 track you want is not listed in the menu, choose other & note the map you'd like when you place the order. Or, just send me a note if you'd like to verify before you order. These are intricate, multi-layer maps made of wood. The maps have four or five layers, laser cut from different woods, each selected to add contrast & warmth to the piece. The front frame is engraved mahogany. A bright, raised layer makes the circuit or track pop out from the background levels. Roads are cut from a neutral draftboard, as are the lower levels, which feature paths, buildings, or other details of the areas surrounding the track. Some maps feature raised turn numbers & various named turns of the circuit. The map layers are mounted in a deep 11 x 14 black frame to finish the piece. Layers are coated with stain, varnish, or oil to protect the wood surfaces. Every map is carefully assembled by hand, & every one is unique due to variances in wood grain & finishes. The map pictured is a sample, each map is produced when the order is placed.
