Gorgeous Haviland Limoges France demitasse cup & saucer were made by CH. Field Havilland Co. Colorful Asian inspired Bangkok floral pattern has wonderful multi color flowers with a contrasting border design. The pattern features finely detailed yellow & rusty red flowers with blue & green leafy accents. This pattern was only produced from 1983-1995. A rare beauty for your collection or fantastic gift for someone special. Charles Field opened his own decorating studio for porcelain to export items to the US & in 1868 purchased a porcelain manufacturing company. He married the granddaughter of Francois Alluaud & later took control of the Alluaud porcelain Limoges factory. Charles Field retired in 1881 & the company became known as Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel. The partners changed around 1890 & the company was subsequently called - Gerard & Dufraisseix & eventually Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbot (mark GDA). Condition: Excellent Condition.
