Welcome to my junkgle. It gets better here every day! Good spot! You found this fancy old scissor style salad tongs lounging in the Junkgle. It was made in Leppington, England, from electroplated nickel silver. (Which is stamped on the spoon arm.) It is heavily tarnished at the moment, & has some superficial wear but no dents or damage. It is sturdy & functions smoothly but the hinge is a little loose which allows 10o or so of play - see pic. It is 8.25 long. Thanks for taking a stroll through JustinsJunkgle! Come back often- it is a diverse & ever evolving habitat full of unique characters. You never know what you'll see here! This item, like most of the items i have for sale, besides my original creations, came to me as rescues. I do not know their history, but i try to get to know them well before I find them a home. I give them cleanings when necessary & i'm able, but there may be more to touch up depending on the item and/ or your taste.
