These modern ceramics mugs are handmade on the potter's wheel out of a speckled golden clay. They are glazed with a white glossy glaze with a unique scallop design hand painted on each mug. Their handle is comfortable to hold without being too bulky. The rim & the bottom of the mug are left unglazed to highlight the beauty of the raw stoneware clay. This glaze design is available in white & black & they make a lovely set! All the glazes I use are food safe & lead free. These items are all handmade, so one may so slightly differ from the other in shape or size. Each mug holds about 10 oz of liquid & is 3.5 inches high & 3 inches in diameter.
