Diameter22.5 cm | 8.8 inch Height7 cm | 2.7 inch Pieces made & painted by hand. The motifs depict the flower festival of Redondo, an Alentejo village, as well as local countryside scenes, where nowadays has more than 20 artisanal pottery workshops. Because of that, it contains the largest concentration of potteries in Portugal & one of the largest in the Iberian Peninsula. Paintings by Bete, Ana, Zeza & made by potter Manuel Pirraa who learned the craft with his father, who founded the pottery in 1930.
