This product would make a lovely housewarming gift to people that have moved in to a new home, whether they are coastal dwellers or live in the city. The placemats are made from melamine & have a cork base, which will stop them from sliding around on your surface. They can be easily wiped clean, & can withstand hot plates & dishes.
