I use only natural merino wool yarn from pure fibers for my blankets. The yarn is 21 microns & it makes the blanket extra soft, warm & cozy. Made is US & ready for shipping within 1-3 days. The measurement will change within a few inches back & forth with use because of the natural shifting in the knit. Merino Wool Yarn is made from the fleece of the merino wool sheep. Merino's well known for their incredibly soft coats, & in turn, produce the most amazing of fleeces, & even more amazing yarns for knitting. There is also an option to hand wash your blanket in cold water, gently squeeze water out & lay flat to dry. Wool tend to pill with time and/or use & merino wool is no exclusion. When you feel that your blanket need some spa, just gently pick lint out of it towards direction of fibers. You also can machine wash the blanket, but there are some rules to follow & not ruin the item: Use only front load machine (agitator will ruin it) Use only wool cycle or shortest gentle cycle your machine has Use only cold water (warm water will shrink it) Use only mild detergent with no bleach or stainlifter Keep in mind that machine wash will felt the wool, so it won't be as soft anymore, but will be less shading & more durable.
