It's hand thrown on the potter's wheel & hand painted with artisan stripes. It's modern & one-of-a-kind design gives the cup a unique character. It's great for enjoying your morning coffee or tea. All of our pottery is dishwasher, & microwave safe. Handwashing is recommended for longer use. How it's made Each item is thrown & shaped on the potters wheel. Then the bottom side of the object is trimmed & shaped. If the model includes a handle, the handle is attached at this stage. Then the object is left to dry. Once it's completely dry, it's biscuit fired at 1050 / 1922 F. Finally, the object is glazed & decorated & fired to 1220 / 2228 F.
