Gorgeous French architectural furniture mounts with an intricate hand-carved acanthus leaf scroll design accent. Superior craftsmanship in the curves & fine points of the design with a very nice thickness. Pegs at the bottom where it was attached to possible an armoire or mirror frame. Deep, rich wood color with nice coloration from the years. Many uses for repurposing. Each measuring; 10 height, 13 length, 1 3/8 wall depth (at widest point). Good condition, with surface marks & aging of the wood which is highly desirable....would love to have seen what beautiful piece of furniture this came from.
