Description A stunning late 19th century British Colonial Plantation chair which has been fully restored. This chair was a little worse for wear when we acquired it, the webbing was made using 1930's Indonesian tyres (yes, this is the truth & I have photographic evidence), the joints were wobbly, the leather was torn & dry & the frame was discoloured. Luckily, we saw past all this & have a very talented restorer who has managed to bring this chair back to life. The tears to the leather have been repaired, the leather has been cleaned & nourished, the webbing has been replaced, the joints have been tightened & the frame has been cleaned & waxed.
