LARGE DAVID MALE BUST CANDLE Our male bust candle is inspired by Michelangelo's David statue, which has become one of the most recognised works of Renaissance sculpture, a symbol of strength & youthful beauty. Considered one of Michelangelo's great masterpieces, 'The David' is an exquisite example of his knowledge of anatomy - can be seen in David's musculature, his strength emphasised through the classical contrapposto stance, with weight shifting onto his right leg. A sense of naturalism is conveyed in the way the body stands determined, a confident glare on the young man's face. Because David is a symbol of strength & youthful beauty, we could only call our male bust candle by his name. The David candles are hand poured in London. We are only using Soy Wax & fragrance oils. We can also make custom orders based on your preferences. Please get in touch if you’d like to create your own coloured David candle. Some of our candles have colour imperfections, but that's because we like them looking like stone sculptures. The Large David candle dimensions are: Height: 10,3 cm Length: 5 cm Width: 3,4 cm We love how the 'David' bust candle looks & most of the times we are just keeping it for decor on our coffee table, next to our jewellery dish or near to our favourite book. It's a great match for our 'Venus' female bust candles as well. All candles are scented as well & they throw a subtle scent even without being burnt. If you’d like to burn your David candle, please note that burn time is approx 1.2 h. You should always place the candle on a dish or a tray when burning it.
