Listing is for one mug. These mugs are handmade, from a speckled brown stoneware clay. Rounded & comfortable with a sprayed Shino glaze & highlights of fly ash & flame flashing. Exposed to more heat & flame during the firing these mugs have developed a diverse color range, from toasted orange to dark copper. Amazing mugs & only 3 available. These mugs were fired in my wood fire kiln at temperatures surpassing 2300o F, for 40+ hours. The high temperature & sustained firing time results in a natural ash glaze on these mugs. Each mug is slightly different in shape with ash glaze forming in different locations. Woodfired pieces are truly unique & have a story to tell. Rugged & dependable - good for hot or cold drinks. Dimensions Approx. 3H x 3W 10+ ounces. These mugs are all similar but vary slightly due to being handmade & the wood firing process.
