Large, handmade, wood fired stein. This tankard was made from porcelain clay, with a white interior glaze & glazed half way down exterior. Great natural ash glaze & laterite slip decoration. This tankard was fired in my wood fire kiln at temperatures surpassing 2300o F, for 40+ hours. The high temperature & sustained firing time results in a natural ash glaze on the tankard which is great for daily use. Woodfired pieces are truly unique & have a story to tell. Rugged & dependable.
