This handblown & hand-engraved ruby & pink vase is sure to enhance your decor, or to be treasured as a gift! This vase is upcycled. I used a chunk of patterned colored glass left over from making murrine to provide the color on this piece. If not used in this way, this chunk of glass would have been discarded. in addition to being handblown, this vases is hand-engraved on one side using a diamond wheel on an engraving lathe. Each of my vases is made individually & has a unique shape & pattern. Because this is hand-blown, there are small bubbles & tool marks present in the piece. These are artifacts of the process & are not considered flaws in the product. This vase is a piece of art & is signed & dated by the artist. This vase was selected for the spring 2023 Lehigh Art Alliance juried Scratching the Surface show. & it it a practical object as well, suitable for use every day. Hand washing recommended.
