We've taken our home state of Minnesota & re-drawn the state lines a bit to give this wooden tree ornament a more mid-century modern feel (sorry for any of you right on the border that we unintentionally kicked off of the map).The solid walnut, cherry, or maple Minnesota ornaments feature a smooth finish due to our oil & wax treatments. The vintage style will have you in the holiday spirit in no time, though the Minnesota winter will probably have already begun before you put this one out on display. Let's be honest... Minnesota Christmas & Solstice season should probably start in October, so why not get this Minnesota ornament out right away! Actually, come to think of it, maybe this is more than a wooden tree ornament. (03) Finish We finish our products with a mixture of pure tung oil, boiled linseed oil & wax. This means less harsh chemicals when we are doing the work, & a safer breathing experience for you. The end result is a durable, water-resistant matte finish that feels like a silky-smooth piece of wood. Another benefit to the finish is that it allows for easy repair when scratches happen.
