These words are all made of yarn & wire. They vary in size depending on the word... Hope (orange) 8x4.5 in Clarity (gray) 9x5 in Shalom (green) 10x4 in Thanks (orange) 13x4.5 in Freedom (blue) 11x3.5 in Abundance (grape) 14.4x3+ in These words can hang on a wall, be propped up on a table or shelf, or make their home on your desk somewhere. (Propping usually works best for words with letters that all have the same baseline, such as Thanks.) The words are sturdy enough that they won't bend when you pick them up or hold them, but they can get slightly eschew if they fall & hit the floor hard. (It's usually easy to bend them back into place.) I've found that I like them hanging on nails the best, but they can also hang on clear plastic hooks. Please message me with any questions. THE STORY: Words mean a lot in my family. A few years back, we were going through a really rough time, taking one hit after another that left us feeling pretty devastated. As we worked to put ourselves back together, we put together a list of the words that we wanted to be our legacy, words that we believed could come to define us, if we chose to live into them. We decided we needed to be reminded of our words often. I liked the idea of hanging them on the wall, so I went searching for words on Etsy. I found many beautiful options in metal & wood...but we love color, & color seemed important for this project. I had worked with wire before, so I decided to try making them myself. My daughter created our words in her own handwriting while I learned how to make i-cords & shape wire into her handwriting. It all started to come together, but where to put the words? We were in the middle of redoing the office located in the center of our home & decided to dedicate a wall to our project. We wanted the wall to represent all of us, & since we all dabble in photography, we chose favorite photos that we had taken over the years & displayed them there. We spread the words throughout the pictures. The wall became our testimony, & today it's a favorite place in our home.
