My wife grows many different kinds of flowers in her garden. I am particularly fond of the Lilies she grows. I'm a landscape photographer, but I like the details found in the landscape. Flowers are often part of a scene & are a game-changer in a landscape photograph if maintained. This photo was taken in early June when the rains still water the garden well. It rained the night before I took this early morning photo. Outdoor photography of close-up flowers can be a challenge in breezy Minnesota. I was able to get the two lilies in focus & mute the focus of the green leaf background. The colors are completely natural, & I find the combination of pink, yellow, & red very picturesque.
