Super King size mahogany sleigh bed. Delivered semi dismantled for easy access, the bed is supplied complete with slats for the base. Assembly is very straightforward. This piece of furniture is made from mahogany. The construction is very sturdy with traditional joints & fixings. This bed goes particularly well with our mahogany sleigh bedsides & chest of drawers. Size: 91H x 195W x 220L cm (Suitable for UK super king size mattress of 180 x 200cm) Head board height: 91cm Foot board height: 68cm Gap between floor & side rail: 14cm We recommend using a bed base (available from us) to improve your comfort, & to protect & prolong the lifetime of your mattress. If you decide to put the mattress straight on the slats we would always recommend a full mattress protector as the slats may mark the mattress over time. Please note that the finish is slightly darker than shown in the photos All our furniture is handmade & finished, & there may be very minor variation in the shade or pigmentation between individual pieces. Minor imperfections to the finish are to be anticipated & expected & should not be considered as defects. With painted finishes some paint settling will occur. This simply adds to the character of the furniture. We select orders of multiple items from batch numbers that are close together in number to keep the look as consistant as possible. The overall finish is far more attractive than anything mass produced, & will look absolutely right in any setting.
