A pair of iconic Ercol Windsor 1960 BS 2056 'Utility' dining chairs. Stamped underneath the seat with the manufacture date of 1960 & the British kitemark. The chairs are in great vintage condition, with some acceptable signs of wear expected with furniture of this age. To note: One seat has a fairly deep groove, very slight separation at the front & sections of the legs have darkened patches from years of use - please see photos in detail. Perfectly acceptable for 80 years old, they are a lovely pair. They are structurally sound & sturdy, I have lightly sanded them to remove any surface debris & scratches whilst being careful to maintain their aged patina & character. They have then been cleaned & nourished throughout using locally sourced Beeswax.
