All of these prints are textured versions of the traditional playing cards. What would otherwise simply be a solid color has been given detail characteristic of the Medieval Ages. Within each card are also graphic elements that make it appear 3-Dimensional, as though the head for example is physically on top of the checkered background. This adds a level of depth to an otherwise very familiar image. When someone looks at these for the first time, they are instinctively drawn by the differences between what they see & what they are accustomed to seeing. The Black & White versions have even more subtle enhancements. Apart from the intense contrast in shades, certain areas of the prints have a slight gradient from light to dark. This gives an additional level of detail that I think you will find appealing. All of my prints come un-framed. However, the sizes are standard for ease of framing. The paper is what truly separates these prints from the masses. It is thick, enhanced matte 13mil paper. You will not be disappointed.
