PIETER de HOOCH PRINT A Dutch Interior A small & enchanting print in its original narrow wooden frame. The framing was carried out by Bernard Stone, a well-known Newcastle-upon-Tyne Art Dealer & his old paper label can still be seen on the back together with a hand-written date of 1944. The print could perhaps benefit from a grander frame but I prefer this simple one. It would have been done towards the end of World War 2 when materials were hard to come by so it has a certain poignancy. Measures 9.5 x 10.5 or 26cms x 24cms. This will be well packaged & sent to your overseas home by Royal Mail Tracked & Signed Service or Royal Mail Signed For in the UK.
