Rise From the Ashes artwork is created using digital mixed-media art. Ideal to offer as a gift or to decorate your living room, for a graphic & colorful atmosphere. You can choose from two sizes: - 5 x 7 - 8 x 10 All my prints are printed on glossy photo paper with high-quality inks. They are packed with care & shipped safely with cardboard reinforcement & protected with a plastic sleeve. This illustration & girl were inspired by a poem I read when our family was going through some major grief. in the midst of teaching a class on digital graphic art, we were faced with immense grief in our family & so I channeled that into this illustration. Rise From the Ashes features phrases from the poem & our own grief woven deep into the background & especially to the meaning behind each layer I chose for this illustration. I first create a background then add the female figure. From there I add tons of digital ephemera, text, & handwritten words. Each layer carries a deeper meaning or emotion. There is text hidden in the art that expresses a feeling. hope you enjoy these girls as much as I enjoyed creating them.
