This cushion is a fantastic example of the wonderful patterns you can find on mudcloth pillows. The fabric is handwoven using traditional African methods & the print is created using layers of fermented mud, left in the sun to dry before being dried & repeated again - this is where the term 'mudcloth' comes from. This cushion is a wonderful size - the lumbar shape is perfect for a sofa or a chair & is just perfect to lounge up against. Looks fabulous paired with the Black Arrow Mudcloth Pillow or its matching pattern in the square pillow format. - 12" x 20" (30 x 50cm) cushion cover (looks best filled with feather insert 12" larger - a regular feather pillow is ideal) - Backed in cream, unprinted mudcloth - Handmade in Ghana - Hand wash only in cold water, scrubbing on reverse side - Each cushion will vary slightly for the picture - these are handmade items & that is what makes them special & unlike something you'd find on the High Street.
