Handmade from Portuguese cork board with a gentle infill of light lichen green, these cork coasters are an ideal addition to most hardwood surfaces & provide excellent protection from heat, moisture & scratches. Dimensions: 10cm x 10cm x 1cm Cork is an incredibly versatile & sustainable material. Lightweight yet durable, functional & elegant. The cork these coasters are made from is a direct by-product of the wine stopper manufacturing process, creating a virtually zero-waste, end-to-end industry. The cultivation of cork oak across the Mediterranean is a wonderful example of an industry working with & enhancing the ecology it harvests its material from, strengthening the ecosystems & improving the environment it's grown in. I make these by hand & aim to always have stock available to ship, but they will occasionally need to be made to order. Shipping times may vary accordingly.
