THIS GROUND DESIGN: Instantly recognisable to all Owls fans, the typography on the exterior of Hillsborough's famous Spion Kop has been part & parcel of the Wednesday match day experience since the roof was erected over the Kop in 1986. I've recreated part of it here in this graphic mug, so Wednesday fans the world over can feel a little piece of Hillsborough is never far away. PROCESS My designs all start off on an old fashioned drawing board with pencil, scale rule, set square & paper. Using my skills as a draughtsman, together with various drawings & photographs as references, I create a pencil drawing, which is then recreated digitally. The aim is to produce a simple, minimalist graphic of an iconic structural or architectural element of a football ground or stadium, which discerning fans will be able to recognise & relate to. The final digital image is then sent over to my printer, who prints it onto the mug & ships it direct to you. Please allow a week for delivery.
