This hanging side table is truly special. Hang it from your patio roof or a tree branch to use as a hammock table. It also looks great indoors hung beside the bed as a nightstand or in the living room as an end table. Though it sways slightly, it's sturdy enough to hold books & drinks. It can be made from one solid piece of barn wood or several planks. Leave a note with your order if you have a preference. SIZE The tabletop is 22 wide x 16 long. ROPE LENGTH Unless you specify otherwise, this table will be made to hang 75 inches from the ceiling. This is roughly the height of a typical side table in a room with 8-foot ceilings. You can shift the length slightly by adjusting the knots. If you'd like a different length of rope, please include a note in your order. If you plan to hang this table from a tree limb, be sure to include enough rope to tie around the branch in your measurements. HANGING All hardware needed to hang the table from the ceiling is included. It's always best to hang from studs in the ceiling to ensure the weight is supported. MATERIALS This product has a satin polyurethane finish. This product is made from lumber salvaged from barns in rural Missouri. Due to the nature of barn wood, each item will have its own unique characteristics. No two are quite the same!
