Ron was wheel thrown & altered while still wet. He's thinking about something, but nobody knows what it is. His pensive stare is highlighted by the freckles all over his face. I told him about getting too much sun, but he's hard-headed. He brings an air of calm to any room, & everyone can use that. He also listens well (except about the sun). He would make a fun centerpiece or decorative piece on a shelf or mantel. Ron can hold water for flowers or anything else you'd like to put in him. 9 h x 4.5 w x 5 d - neck inside diameter approximately 7/8 He's been fired to cone 10 (2345F) in a reduction atmosphere using a shino glaze & several other glazes & oxides. His freckles are actually carbon trapped behind salt crystals in the glaze. I'm very pleased by the amount & distribution of the carbon. Sizes are accurate to the nearest half inch.
