All items listed in my shop are carefully selected by myself during my travels in Morocco over the last 6 years, the land where locals have been using skills passed down to them for centuries to produce exceptional handmade masterpieces. Each piece has been handwoven by the women of Morocco. Rugs were made for personal use & have been passed on for many generations, the patterns & symbols reflecting the weaver's life events & feelings. This rug has been pre-loved which means you may see some signs of ageing, repairs & minor imperfections but nothing that affects the quality/aesthetics of the rug. When vacuuming, I recommend turning off the beater blade, use a low suction & vacuum in the direction of the wool fibres to prevent unnecessary shedding/damage.
