An exceptional mid-century modern Swarovski crystal glass chandelier. This rare piece was most likely produced in Austria in the 60's. It is made of lots of Swarovski glass crystals & polished brass. It has 3 tiers & an amazing round brass bottom plate with crystal glass windows. The high-quality glass crystals produce a nice colorful scattered light when daylight shines on the chandelier. The style of the chandelier is not classical antique but rather Space Age inspired. Because of this futuristic character, it also goes very well with rather contemporary furniture. The chandelier is in very good used condition. Only one of the glass pieces has a minor chip. The brass shows some minor signs of oxidation & several superficial scratches. The fixture bar shows some black areas due to oxidation. On request, a longer brass fixture bar can be installed to make the chandelier look better with high ceilings. Because of the delicate metal joints, the overall structure must be adjusted by hand upon installation. total height: 55cm (22) diameter: 49cm (19) 6x E14 (bulbs not included) I advise to have all lights checked & installed by a professional.
