Fused glass soap dish or trinket dish handmade by me in my kiln. A unique handmade fused glass soap/trinket dish Size: 13cm x 8cm This fused glass soap dish is made by me. Firstly I hand cut a coloured piece of bullseye glass & a clear piece of glass then placed together & fuse together in my kiln. The kiln reachs temperatures of around 800 degrees & takes between 15-18 hours. The kiln cools down slowly to complete the annealing process which gives the glass strength & durability. Once cool the fused glass is fired again in a ceramic mould to create a curved dish along with the careful heating up & cooling down of the kiln to maintain the strength & durability of the glass. I drill a single hole in the middle of the soap dish so that any water can drain away & add 4 rubber feet bumper dots.
