Victorian Edward Moore & Co. Handled Gadroon Bowl c.1880s A beautiful rare piece of Victorian glass, in the form of a handled bowl, made in the 1880s, it is very tactile with all of the grooves & curves. It was made by Edward Moore & Co. in their Tyne Flint Glassworks, it is marked to inner base in raised type Rd 71753(12-Apr-1887 ). A very Victorian design, same piece can be seen in the Victoria & Albert Museum collection. The condition is excellent, a couple of very minor chips on base edge, not very noticeable, otherwise little sign of wear. Measures approx. 22.5cm x 11.5cm(9 x 4 ) & 11.5cm at tallest, weight is 0.660kg.
