This is a stunning vintage handmade traditional oriental area rug. Hand-knotted in the 1980s, this rug is in mint condition. Made with fine quality wool & a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch), this rug has exquisite detail in the medallion, corners & wide borders, all of which are swirling in flowers & vines with the most beautiful shades of blue. The deep cherry red open field is the perfect backdrop for abundant floral details in royal blue, sky blue, steel blue, parchment & copper. All colors are made from only vegetable & other natural dyes. This rug has a full soft pile that can withstand high traffic & will last generations.
