Hanging fused glass mermaid. Sugar Sisters Collection. Meet the Cornish Maids handmade in my studio here in the middle of Cornwall. These little mermaids are between 17/20cm in length to give you an idea of their size. There are 8 variations to choose from please refer to the numbered photograph before checking out to select your mermaid. 1) Photograph 3 - 20cm approx height 2) Photograph 4 - approx 17.5cm height 3) Photograph 5 - approx 17.5cm height 4) Photograph 6 - approx 17cm height 5) Photograph 7 - approx 17cm height 6) Photograph 8 - approx 18cm height 7) Photograph 9 - approx 19.5cm height 8) Photograph 10 - approx 19cm height They have been made from a range of Bulleye glass & clear tekka glass, finnished off with dichroic glass, enamel & glassline. Each mermaid takes around a week from start to finnish as are fired multiple times in my kiln to create the finnished product. Once the fusing process has been completed its off to the hairdressers for them where i create their trademark curls using colour coated wire. Some also have hand crafted little glass bead necklaces. Their are many to collect in various colour choices & sizes.
