Blackwatch small check tartan, plaid handmade rolled edge drum lampshade. Made from a lovely soft feel brushed cotton fabric. The shade comes in four stock sizes. 20cm diameter x 18cm high 25cm diameter x 20cm high 30cm diameter x 20cm high 40cm diameter x 25cm high Overseas buyers, if you require a shade 40cm in diameter or bigger please contact me prior to checking out to ask for a quote for postage costs. The shade in the pictures is 30cm diameter x 20cm high. Other shapes & sizes can be arranged, please ask. It can be used as a pendant shade, or on a lamp base as shown in the picture. Please note that not much light permeates through the sides of the shade. Due to the nature of the fabric, the light is directional, giving an ambient glow at the top & bottom of the shade. Each lampshade comes with a removable plastic adapter to allow use with a UK or European fitting. I can also supply nylon washers to fit USA harp & finial fittings. Please contact me if this is a requirement you would need as this would also impact on which way the pattern goes. You are responsible for making sure the fittings on my lampshades will fit your lighting fittings, so please check with me before purchasing. Computers can change the colours, so there may be a slight variance in shade between the pictures & the actual item. The inner white lining of the shade has been treated for anti-yellowing, anti-static, UV stabilisation & fire resistance & the lampshade inner lining has been tested & passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. It is recommended that the bulb to use with the shade is the low energy type. They use less energy & are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades & ceilings Most of my fabrics are limited quantity but, if you like a specific design & would like more of the same style colour etc & they are not showing as available, please feel free to ask me, as I may have more of the same fabric to accommodate your needs.
