Description
Hand rolled edge lampshade is made from a beautiful fabric with a lovely vintage style floral pattern in orange / terracotta on a beige background. The shade comes in four stock sizes. 20cm diameter x 18cm high 25cm diameter x 20cm high 30cm diameter x 20cm high 40cm diameter x 25cm high Other sizes can be arranged, please ask. Overseas buyers, if you require a shade 40cm in diameter or bigger please contact me prior to checking out to ask for a quote for postage costs. It can be used as a pendant shade, or on a lamp base / standard lamp as shown in the picture. The shade in the pictures is 30cm diameter x 20cm high. Very little light permeates through the sides of the shade. Due to the nature of the fabric, the light is directional, giving an ambient glow at the top & bottom of the shade. Please note that the lampshade you receive may not be exactly as you see in the pictures due to getting the most out of the fabric as it comes off the roll, but every effort will be made to get the pattern placement as close as possible. Each shade comes with a removable plastic adapter to allow use with a UK or European fitting. I can also supply washer to fit USA harp & finial fittings. Please contact me if this is a requirement you would need as this would also impact on which way the pattern goes. You are responsible for making sure the fittings on my lampshades will fit your lighting fittings, so please check with me before purchasing. The inner white lining of the shade has been treated for anti-yellowing, anti-static, UV stabilisation & fire resistance & the lampshade inner lining has been tested & passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. It is recommended that the bulb to use with the shade is the low energy type. They use less energy & are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades & ceilings Computers can change the colours, so there may be a slight variance in shade between the pictures & the actual item. Most of my fabrics are limited quantity but, if you like a specific design & would like more of the same style colour etc & they are not showing as available, please feel free to ask me, as I may have more of the same fabric to accommodate your needs.
