This is a truly magnificent hand crocheted granny square blanket. All the granny squares are crocheted in a cream wool mix yarn & then they are crocheted together with a pink yarn. Then on three edges (the two sides & the bottom) there is a pink granny square edge. I have shown this on a king-size bed & as you will see it does not reach the floor on the sides. So depending on the look you like it will fit a king-size (like the photo) or a double where it will come to the floor on both sides. It is in fabulous vintage condition, there are a couple of flecks of black in the cream yarn (see photos), but I say this to be correct & the colour is in the yarn. Up by the head where the pillows are a few of the cream granny squares look like the pink has bled into them a little, this is very very faint, but again I say this to be correct (see last photo). This blanket is very heavy - 3 kg +! Because of the weight I will be sending it out by Hermes to anywhere in the UK. Please remember this is not a new item, it is vintage & has had a previous life. in saying that though it's in Fab condition!
