PRICE UPDATED AS FOR DELIVERY TO SUTTON COLDFIELD AS AGREED WITH TONY A great quality late 19th century davenport writing desk with wonderful inlaid decoration, leather writing slope & carved leg embellishments. Features four large working drawers to one side & four blind/dummy drawers to the other. There is also a delightful little drawer that pulls out & pivots towards the desk. Very good general condition, with lots of attractive aged surface wear. There is an aged split to the front underside of the desk & the back panel but these are merely aesthetic & not unattractive. The maple lined desk interior is in good shape with just some old ink stains. English, late 19th century.
