This macrame hanging is hand-knotted by me in my home. Please note that all work is done in a smoke free, exceptionally clean cat friendly environment. For hanging, this item only requires one nail to hang from the suspension cord. The wall hanging is made from 4mm cotton cord. The wood used is a 18 dowel Please note - the dimensions listed in the description are of the length of the wall hanging from the top of the dowel to the bottom of the fringe. the width measurement is of the dowel or piece of wood. I list the widest part of the wall hanging.and that will always be what the cords are suspended from. The actual macrame will be shorter in width than what it is hanging from. Please refer to the listing photos.for size in relation to what it's hanging from. The approximate dimensions for the macrame are 18 W 40 L. That does not include the suspension cord. I do not accept returns or exchanges, but please reach out to me if there are any issues. Care instructions After receiving your item, please unpack it as soon as possible. During shipping it can get a bit wrinkled or puckered. Put the piece on the flat area let it rest for a bit & then hang it. You can use a wide tooth comb to very carefully smooth fringe & tassels. Solid cord that is still twisted should not be combed out; just use your fingers to straighten the strands. To clean your wall hanging, use dust roller. Do not use liquid to wash.
