Original artwork made of real pressed flowers including mat & wooden picture frame This article entitled: Wreath of Joy is an original artwork made from a variety of real pressed flowers & leaves, collected & preserved by me. The artwork shows different plant species, such hydrangea flowers & baby's breath combined with different leaves. I only use plants that are not protected & not endangered. The flowers are artfully arranged on a 450 g/m Hahnemhle Cornwall watercolour artist paper. The artwork is shipped in a 40 x 40 cm wooden frame with suspension & with actyl glass (thickness 2 or 3 mm) & mat. It is possible to choose between different frame designs, please look at the options. The wooden picture frames are produced in Germany, & are FSC certified. The mats we use are all in high quality, 1.4 mm - to 1.7 mm thick, acid-free & resistant to aging. The colors of the plants develop naturally over time. in order to preserve the artwork optimally, avoid direct contact with the sun's rays or a room that is too humid. The artwork comes in a protective box. I make all my artwork with flowers that I've been pressing for several weeks. This craftsmanship makes each plant composition a unique work of art. The size specifications always refer to the total size of the image with mat. Please note that colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings. Thank you for your interest in our artworks.
