A Large C19th Oak Dutch or Flemish Hall Cabinet with Cupboard Side Cabinet A large & impressive C19th oak, hall cabinet or side cabinet, sideboard which opus either Dutch or Flemish. The cabinet is very heavy & is made from oak, which has a good colour & grain patination. The cabinet is formed with the base section being set with two top drawers, each shaped & with carved decoration on them. They have there original ornate bronze drop handles. Below these there are two cupboards each having panelled doors with carved decoration on them. Opening the cupboards there is a single shelf. The base is shaped & stepped. To the top of the base section there is a opening with polished top. There is a small gallery stand with turned supports. The top section is supported on large turned balusters & a panelled back. The top section is set with two doors, each is glazed. Opening the top section there is two large shelf’s which can be adjusted to any position wanted. To the top of the cabinet it has a stepped top & carved motif. The carving has flowers & leaves. The cabinet is very impressive & would grace any living room, or entrance way. The cabinet splits into section but is still very heavy. The cabinet dates to around 1880. Size Height 88.5" Height of Base Section 36.75" Width 52.75" Depth 21.75" Condition The condition of the cabinet is very good, there is light scuffs, marks & scratches.
