A set of two hammered gold rings great for couples as unique wedding bands. I start by making two bands from 14 carat yellow gold & then hammer them by hand to create irregular indents & a rustic texture. I use a flat shape hammer that strikes the metal at slightly different angles & gives a really unique asymmetrical shape. The subtle ridged surface texture is also transferred onto the metal which reminds me of naturally weathered stone. The photos shown here are 3mm & 5mm widths. They are 1.3-1.8mm thickness with comfortable rounded edges on the inside.
