A hammered 14k gold ring which would be great as a unique wedding band. I start by making the band from 14 carat yellow gold & then hammer it by hand to create irregular indents & a rustic texture. I use a flat shape hammer that strikes the metal at slightly different angles & gives a really unique asymmetrical shape. The subtle ridged surface texture is also transferred onto the metal which reminds me of naturally weathered stone. The photos shown here are 3mm width & they will be 1.3-1.8mm thickness with comfortable rounded edges on the inside.
