Vintage table lamp set , 1950-60s solid brass with a hand-blown glass shade Very decorative table lamp from bygone times, made in high quality. This lamp is bigger & a lot nicer than I can document with the photos. See below for dimensions. The weight is enormous, because the round, stepped stand was made of brass in a complex process. It is therefore very stable & can also be taken out onto the sheltered terrace in the evening without being blown away by the wind. The light is very enchanting. It works like a candle! Especially if you are using a clear lightbulb. Just super romantic (although the electricity illuminates it) It brings a lot of luminosity & brightness, see cover photo. You can of course equip it with a weak candle-shaped bulb (E 14) for less light. The bright light comes from the fact that the glass globe ball is open at the top! is (9 cm / 3.54 ), with one edge of the glass, something like a petrol lamp from even earlier times. The glass of the global umbrella was blown by hand and, after production, was etched all around with a floral, rather large stylized decor. See photos. Just so wide that you can't see the light bulb exactly ... & mistake it for a candle. The balloon glass has a hint of amber, smoked. But it is not brown, rather dark yellow-gold. The cables with switches are matched to the lamp & are gold-colored. Suitable for all countries. During the day, when unlit, it shines brilliantly and, in combination with the brass of the stand & central base, radiates perfect elegance. The lamp is suitable for many places. in a niche for full lighting, on a chest of drawers, highboard, as a table lamp, also on a feminine desk & of course as a bedside lamp next to your cozy bed or on the dressing table. The stand measures 13 cm / 5.12 so that it is a perfect point of light & creates atmosphere on the barcart or side table. For living room, bedroom & sometimes as an excursion to a candlelight dinner on the sheltered terrace or garden. For living with special accessories & quality from days gone by.
