Hand painted by me, this coolie shade is inspired by the beautifully eclectic interiors of the Bloomsbury group, such as Charleston Farmhouse, home of Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant. This one has been inspired by paintings of both with the floral motifs being warm red peony like flower forms & buds on top of a faded beige & cream painted base. The shape of the shade is a coolie style suitable for pendant or lamp base fittings. The shade is also adjustable allowing you to tilt the shade to read or work by. The shade is painted using colourfast fabric paint which gives a warm ambience to blend with most interiors when lit. The shade measures 9cm top diameter By 30cm lower diameter by 19cm in height. This shade also comes in a larger size & a smaller size. Please ask if you'd like one created for you in another colour scheme.
