Etsy - Feathersandneedles Bloomsbury Bohemian Lamp-Base
Description
This lamp-base is painted to order & it looks super with one of my medium Bloomsbury shades which measure 30cm base diameter. It is hand-turned from wood & fully wired with a brass fitting & beige/gold cable. It measures 44cm in height including the fitting. The design is based upon the colours of the Bloomsbury group Textiles & hand painted interiors, along with some inspiration from 1930s ceramics, in shades of deep cyan, medium beige & deep dusky/peony pink. It is shown in one image with one of my 'lily' shades but it also looks good with my pink 'fresco' shade, shown on the base on the left, & many of the others offered in the shop. Bloomsbury style was very eclectic & these artists mixed & broke the normal 'rules' of colour co-ordination so don't be scared to experiment with your own mixes. Don't forget, I can also create custom colour schemes of either the bases or lampshades in my shop. Please ask for a no obligation quotation.
