My own design so a truly unique 3 tiered-crowned Chandelier-shade, a captivating vintage piece with an abundance of lively (full of sparkle) crystal prisms of various shapes & sizes including (8cm & 6.5cm) peacock/fan-tails & patterned-cut spear prisms (7.5cm & 8.5cm) ~ As illustrated in the images provided these includes the most spectacular deep emerald green octagonal (2cm) accent prisms, these play with the light & the hue of the green is changing constantly, these are also extremely old & I know they are incredibly rare to find. This piece display perfectly in both natural & artificial light, it’s vintage prisms date(s) range from Victorian to 1920-40’s, they are heavy & lustrous, testifying to their inimitable quality & age. in the sparkly world of Chandeliers, I would define this piece as ‘Small to medium’ & as such it has the unique advantage of being suitable for lower ceilings & smaller spaces without loosing any of the wow factor or impact of the much larger pieces. The top crowning frame has 5 extension arms extending from it, hanging off of these are 5 droplets (1cm 3cm), the top hoop has a very pretty pattern & the lower 2 hoops are plain. Every prisms has been hand cleaned & their connector pins checked & replaced as required, some prisms may have inclusions, nibbles & age consistent ware, none of this detracts from the overall presence of how this beauty displays & in many ways, enhances & evidences their considerable history. Unlike the more modern imitations, there is something special about the older vintage prisms & how they capture & reflect the light. BEFORE PURCHASING: 1) Condition: Condition is factored into all pricing. in addition to the above details, overall this piece is in very good vintage condition, a bespoke sympathetically restored piece utilising salvaged & vintage prisms, with ware consistent to their age, the slight patina & tarnish of its frame only adding to the romance of piece.
