Description
Aden, Yemen, was famous for making, preparing & marketing incense, then exporting it & passing it on to generations since ancient times. It was one of the main ways of preparing bukhoor in the countries overlooking the Red Sea & the Mediterranean Sea. The demand for Adani Bakhoor is increasing in the Arab Gulf countries, as well as Sudan, Eritrea & Ethiopia. The method of making Adeni bukhoor is based on mixing & grinding the following materials, which are perfume, boiled sugar, agarwood, water, rose oil, musk, grape oud, perfume, musk, amber, tannins, sugar & myrrh. These are ground to form a powder. After that, these ingredients are cooked on low heat for a period of 20-30 minutes, then divided into small pieces & the mixture is transferred to metal or plastic molds under the air covered with tin casing until it turns into a solid substance. Other materials can be added to the method of making Adeni incense, such as musk, amber, & others, according to the customer's request. How to use: (1) electric incense burner: let the burner heat up & remove it from the socket - once it's cooled down a little apply a couple of Bakhoor pieces into the burner, & soak in the fragrance emitted. Turn the Bakhoor over so it doesn't burn halfway through, & please cover the metal plate of the burner with a foil to protect the plate. (2) Or use a coal fired incense burner: add a piece of coal to burn when the coal piece has layers of ash, use tongs to apply a a Bakhoor piece to the burner. (3) Place in a room & let the smell of incense waft through the air. It is used by placing it in the coal incense burners to burn & smoke rises from it, which fills the place with perfume & sweet smells. It is important not to put the Bakhoor pieces when the coal is red hot, so it does not burn (see photo) - wait 10 - 15 minutes Please DON'T leave it unattended while the coal is burning.
